WebVanilla Synthesis had serious balance issues with its spell-list. The primary difference between Unchained and Vanilla is the significantly nerfed spell list in Unchained. With that said, with Eidoleons being 3/4 BAB innately, I doubt that they can keep up with the damage output of a dedicated fighter, especially in a CR+3 boss battle. WebThat being said, take a look at this guide, it helped me build my summoner. As an unchained summoner, you may need as many Evolution points as possible, so I would recommend taking Extra Evolution every 4 levels, this will give you 1 pool point per feat, which goes a long way (especially in the later levels).
