If Shep didn’t, they stay silent during the trial. WebNot so with ME3. I am currently about half way through my second play through and it is almost identical to my first. The first Shep I used for my first play through, all of my characters from ME2 survived. But I had some key players die in ME2 with this Shep I am playing now (Jack, Mordin and Thane). It's still pretty much the same thing.
