MindMatters is a national mental health initiative for secondary schools funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing and implemented by Principals Australia Institute (formerly APAPDC). This evaluation was undertaken to answer the following questions: How many secondary schools are aware of MindMatters? WebMental illness or disorder Mental illness is a collective term for a range of clinically diagnosable medical conditions, which change a person’s thoughts, feelings, behaviour or relationships. The effects are usually more pronounced and long-lasting than a mental health problem and may not resolve without professional support or medical assistance.
