The reticle's red dot is 1.5 MOA at 6x, and is 6 MOA at 1.5x (ie SFP). You won't use the red dot past 200 yds as the optic runs on holdovers.

WebNope. Primary Arms 1-8 is 26.9 ounces even before you add a mount, and the current generation Elcan is actually only 22 ounces with the upgraded Mk2 ARMS mounts (which add 0.1 ounce). That puts the Elcan at at least 8.2 ounces lighter than the PA 1-8 even with the Aero lightweight. No...it’s moving beyond fanboyism after having broke two. An NX8 in a Larue Mount weighs 2oz more than a 1-4 Elcan, and an ounce less than a 1.5-6x Elcan...with more magnification.
