My best amps are all his except my Mesa. My favourite is the Accomplice. I've also built two Old Flames and a few now-discontinued kits. WebJan 5, 2024 · My "ultimate amp" is an Allen Sweet Spot that I assembled 11 years ago. Based on a Princeton Reverb with upgraded transformers and top-of-the-line components. It has been trouble free with the exception of a bolted ground at the power transformer that was an easy fix.
WebJan 5, 2006 · If you want the one closest to a Deluxe Reverb the one you'd want is the Accomplice if you can live without tremolo. If you need tremolo you can go with the Encore (my favorite) which is more like a Vibrolux, but you can run 6v6's in it to get closer to the Deluxe sound if you want.
